We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Front of House Barista to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a warm, inclusive dining experience for all guests
Customer Service & Front of House
- Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude
- Take orders accurately and process payments via POS system
- Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations
- Handle customer feedback and resolve minor issues calmly
Barista & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, and specialty beverages to AMGD standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all drinks
- Maintain cleanliness of coffee machine, bar area, and equipment
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and inform supervisor of low inventory
- Operations & Hygiene
- Maintain overall cleanliness of front-of-house, including tables, counters, and dining
- area
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support opening and closing duties (setting up / cleaning / restocking)
- Work closely with kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations
- Inclusivity & Ambassadorship
- Support AMGD’s mission of inclusivity at Enabling Village
- Provide respectful and patient service to guests from all backgrounds and abilities
- Be a positive ambassador for the AMGD brand and values
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in F&B is an advantage (training provided)
- Friendly, positive attitude with good communication skills
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work weekends and public holidays if required
- Passion for healthy living and hospitality is a bonus
